Job summary

Niyam IT, Inc. is seeking a Principal Technical Architect to lead nationwide federal programs from a hybrid Ashburn, VA location. You will guide multi-program architecture, mentor teams, and shape technical strategy for AI-enabled mobile and web solutions across GeoCube and ARIA platforms.

The role sits at the intersection of full stack engineering and applied AI, delivering features through a cloud CI/CD DevSecOps pipeline while maintaining architectural governance and ADRs.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• 10 years of professional full stack software development experience across frontend, backend, and API layers.
• Experience with two or more: Flutter, Angular, Spring Boot, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Dart, iOS (Swift), Android.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into production applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, containers (Kubernetes), and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture aligning with business and mission objectives.
• Lead technology evaluation, system design, and integration across web, mobile, cloud, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across the SDLC, including design, development, and reviews.
• Mentor developers and maintain Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Ensure security, performance, scalability, accessibility, and operational readiness.
