Job summary

Stifel Financial Corp. is seeking a Sr. AI Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the design and implementation of secure, reusable cloud capabilities for security teams.

You will architect platforms, integrations, AI-enabled security tools, and automation to reduce manual toil and enable scalable operations across security pods. You will collaborate with Security Architecture and cloud platform teams to align with standards, develop IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK, and build data pipelines,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 6+ years of platform, infrastructure, DevOps, cloud, automation, integration, security engineering, or software engineering experience; 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
• Experience applying AI, machine learning, or generative AI to automation, engineering, or security use cases.
• Preferred: Experience with metrics platforms, APIs, or workflow orchestration.
• Preferred: Experience supporting regulated or financial-services environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical design of shared capabilities — platforms, services, integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and automation.
• Build shared security tool integrations and reusable automation to reduce toil and duplication.
• Architect AI solutions to secure and enhance security operations and decision support.
• Develop shared metrics, data, and dashboarding capabilities for automated reporting across the security org.
• Publish architecture diagrams, runbooks, and service documentation; communicate results to stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in platform engineering and secure development.
