Job summary

Stifel is seeking an AI-Application Security Architect to define and advance enterprise AI/app security architecture across the organization, balancing risk with development velocity and innovation.

You will partner with engineering, platform, DevOps, legal, and risk teams to implement secure by design patterns, governance, and tooling (SAST/DAST/CI/CD) while measuring program maturity with KPIs.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of application security principles, methods, and tooling.
• Experience with security frameworks (OWASP, SANS, NIST) and threat modeling.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews and embed security across SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise AI/app security strategies and reference architectures.
• Embed security throughout the SDLC with secure-by-design practices.
• Mentor engineers and drive improvements with measurable KPIs.
• Evaluate emerging threats and architect governance for AI-enabled apps.
