State Street is seeking a Lead AI Security Automation Engineer to shape next-generation cybersecurity data, analytics, and AI platforms. You will lead a team delivering agentic AI workflows and secure, scalable AI solutions across cloud environments.

The role blends AI, cybersecurity, data engineering, and full-stack development, guiding governance, testing, and observability while partnering with Global Cyber Security and Infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering with AI experience.
• 4+ years developing AI solutions and cybersecurity integration.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AI automation team for security operations.
• Architect scalable AI platforms and agentic workflows for threat detection.
• Design production-grade AI systems with agents, skills, memory, guardrails, and tooling orchestration.
• Lead retrieval and context engineering approaches including embeddings and semantic search.
• Engineer cloud-native AI solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP with containers and serverless patterns.
• Optimize platform latency, throughput, scalability, and cost controls.
• Develop secure APIs and integrations connecting AI to security tools and processes.
• Define reliability, security, and governance standards for AI platforms.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across distributed teams.
• Apply enterprise-approved AI tooling and ensure outputs pass secure coding and peer reviews.
