Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a senior engineer in Cupertino to build automation and intelligence tooling that enables secure software across iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. You will design harnesses, infrastructure, and AI-assisted workflows to verify correctness at scale and improve security without impacting user experience.

You’ll work across multiple codebases, collaborating with SEAR and OS teams to drive automation choices, CI integration, and reusable tooling for engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Swift, Objective‑C, or Python, with a track record of building tools, frameworks, or infrastructure that other engineers depend on.
• Experience designing and deploying automated verification at scale, including harnesses and CI systems
• Real fluency with AI‑assisted development. You use LLMs, coding agents, or tooling you've built yourself to get substantially more done, and you can explain how.

Responsibilities

• Decide where automation is worth building and implement it.
• Own how the team proves security‑critical code does what it claims without degrading user experience.
• Help define AI‑native security‑based development and assess where agents accelerate work.
