Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join the Scaled Operations AI Accelerator Team. This small team rapidly designs, develops, and deploys AI-powered automation to transform operational processes and drive efficiency at scale.

As a Software Developer, you will build innovative AI-driven solutions, collaborate across functions, and manage contractor/vendor workers to deliver measurable impact across Scaled Operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering or related experience.
• 6+ years in ML, AI, NLP, data mining or related field.
• Experience with full web stack, REST API, Python, JavaScript/React.
• Fine-tuning/optimizing PyTorch models and at least one LLM.
• Strong communication to technical and business audiences; data analysis (SQL).

Responsibilities

• Full stack design, development, deployment of AI-powered automation.
• Prototype and iterate to improve efficiency using AI tech.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Build scalable, maintainable systems with backend, frontend, and data engineering.
• Guide contractors and vendor workers in solution delivery; ensure quality and compliance.
• Communicate status and impact clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with AI/ML advances and experiment with new tools.
• Develop playbooks, templates, and best practices to scale automations.
• Track metrics and business impact of automation initiatives.
