You will design and implement automation frameworks that accelerate remediation and reduce security risk. You will build and deploy agent workflows, integrate AI agents with mainframe systems and APIs, and partner with infrastructure and security teams to prioritize patching initiatives, ensuring reliability, scalability,

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in mainframe infrastructure engineering (z/OS, IMS, CICS, DB2) and patch management.
Hands-on experience developing AI/agent-based automation frameworks and agents.
Strong Python programming skills in enterprise environments.
Experience developing and integrating with z/OSMF and z/OS Connect APIs.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of AI-driven automation frameworks for z/OS patching.
Build and deploy agent-based workflows to orchestrate vulnerability remediation at scale.
Integrate AI agents with mainframe systems, APIs, and security tooling.
Partner with infrastructure and security teams to prioritize and execute patching initiatives.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and operational readiness of automation solutions.
