Job summary

Everforth Apex—Charlotte, NC—seeks a Senior IBMi(iSeries) Engineer to drive AI-enabled modernization of vulnerability patching in a hybrid environment. You will design agent-based workflows, deploy automation at scale, and integrate AI agents with IBMi(iSeries) APIs and security tooling.

This role requires 10+ years in IBMi(iSeries) infra, strong Python skills, and experience in large enterprise settings. Join a team that partners with security and infrastructure to deliver reliable patching

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in IBMi(iSeries) infrastructure engineering installation and testing.
Hands-on experience developing AI/agent-based automation frameworks and agents.
Strong Python programming skills in enterprise environments.
Experience developing and integrating with IBMi(iSeries) APIs.
Experience operating in large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of AI-driven automation frameworks for IBMi(iSeries) OS patching.
Build and deploy agent-based workflows to orchestrate vulnerability remediation at scale.
Integrate AI agents with IBMi(iSeries) systems, APIs, and security tooling.
Partner with infrastructure and security teams to prioritize and execute patching initiatives.
Ensure the reliability, scalability, and operational readiness of automation solutions.
