Roku is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer in Test to own API and data pipeline quality. You will architect automated test frameworks, containerize checks, and shape CI/CD workflows with Terraform and CloudFormation.

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, automation, or related fields.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and production-grade systems.
• Experience designing test plans and automated frameworks for APIs and data pipelines.
• Hands-on with LLM-based systems, prompts, retrieval, and agent orchestration.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks for APIs and data pipelines.
• Containerize automated quality checks for complex orchestrated services.
• Use agentic AI workflows for integration tests and test-suite health.
• Build context and retrieval pipelines grounding agents in code and data.
• Implement tool-calling and MCP-style integrations for test runners and CI.
