Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Principal AI & Automation Engineer to define and execute a strategic AI and automation roadmap across Medicare Advantage. You will drive AI-powered systems, RPA, and orchestration to reduce administrative burden and improve care quality.

Lead cross-functional collaboration, establish governance and cloud platform choices, and ensure compliant delivery in a regulated environment. This is a fully remote, senior leadership role with significant impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in AI/ML lifecycle from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Proven ability to define enterprise automation strategy with ROI accountability.
• Regulated healthcare knowledge including HIPAA CMS familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a multi-year AI/automation roadmap aligned to Medicare Advantage priorities.
• Lead enterprise-grade automation across Claims, UM, Provider Ops, and Member Services.
• Own platform selection, governance, CI/CD, MLOps, testing, observability, and documentation.
