Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to head a team of domain architect experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. You will lead the development of universal agentic control harnesses, including tool usage, authentication, and anomaly detection, across large-scale enterprise systems.

The role requires an advanced technical degree and 10+ years in software engineering and AI, with hands-on leadership across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI native development tools and code assistants.

Responsibilities

• Design of control harness intelligence systems including multiagent systems and scaffolding.
• Design architectures for agent identity and authentication in large-scale systems.
• Design post-training and tuning environments for AI agents.
• Implement and test architectures benchmarking performance against agent and human evaluations.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams to deliver balanced outcomes.
• Lead hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
