Job summary

The Boeing Company in Arlington, VA is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Architect (Senior or Lead) to join the Enterprise Services Technology and Systems Data Management team.

You will design end-to-end AI solutions, including data ingestion, model training, deployment and monitoring, aligned to business use cases. This hybrid role requires cloud, security and data-architecture expertise to drive PoCs to scalable production deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering and/or Software Development experience.
• 5+ years of AI hardware and software integration experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience (cloud, security, data privacy).
• 5+ years of experience with databases and data architectures.
• 3+ years of AI/ML technologies, including cloud training and MLOps basics.
• 3+ years of programming in C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python or Visual Basic.

Responsibilities

• Designs end-to-end AI solutions including data ingestion, model training, deployment, monitoring, and ML architectures.
• Leads AI initiatives from PoCs to enterprise-scale deployments.
• Evaluates AI tech (DL, NLP, CV, Generative AI) for business use, cost, latency and privacy.
• Leads design of AI architectures, LLM/RAG pipelines, and agent workflows.
• Builds low-code/no-code abstractions, visual nodes, and template engines for agents.
• Defines AI strategy, roadmaps and standards; assesses AI/ML adoption in business.
• Balances hands-on model work with cross-functional coordination and governance.
• Develops PoCs and MVPs to validate architectural viability.
