Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) seeks a Chief Architect in Annapolis Junction, MD for a high-visibility program. You will lead architecture ownership, oversee cross-functional teams, and drive modernization including AI-enabled transformation across enterprise systems.

The role requires strong governance, systems engineering expertise, and experience with cloud-based architectures, data models, and REST interfaces. Hybrid work arrangement offered in a national security context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 25 years of development experience in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
• Experience leading multiple teams and complex interfaces.
• Experience designing architectures for web-based UI with cloud technologies.
• Experience testing REST-based APIs/services.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the architecture baseline (hardware, software, topology, interfaces, data, security).
• Approve and adjudicate architectural changes while ensuring contract requirements are met.
• Oversee integration across MPO environments and support verification/test planning.
• Perform analyses to assess performance, reliability, and security; identify risks and mitigations.
• Develop a technology roadmap aligned with MPO objectives and modernization efforts.
• Lead AI-enabled engineering transformation, including AI-enabled code generation and automated testing.
