Job summary

EY in the United States seeks an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. This role focuses on building a universal control harness for managing agentic systems with emphasis on authentication, observability, and secure logging in large-scale environments.

You will collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to IP filings.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
Familiarity with AI native software development tools / code assist.

Responsibilities

Design of control harness intelligence systems including multiagent systems and scaffolding.
Design architectures for agent identity and authentication in large-scale systems.
Design of post training and tuning/customization environments.
Design of synthesis models for AI open-source models.
Implement and test architectures benchmarking performance against evals.
Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra to ensure balanced outcomes.
Present at academic conferences and support IP filings.
Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
