Job summary

PharmaEssentia Corporation seeks a Senior Engineer, AI Applications to build production AI tools atop Snowflake data. You will implement retrieval, orchestration, evaluation and monitoring, delivering high-value AI use cases for field teams.

You’ll collaborate with data product and AI strategy peers, ensure security and cost standards, and operate in a hybrid model based in Burlington, MA. 5+ years in production software is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software with hands-on delivery of LLM-based or agentic apps.
• Strong Python and SQL; comfortable with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
• Experience with retrieval, context management, tool and API integration, and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience deploying and operating services in a cloud environment with observability and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic and LLM-based applications against Snowflake data assets, from beta to production.
• Establish reusable engineering patterns and write tests and deployment docs.
• Collaborate with Data Product Engineering and AI Strategy to translate business problems into shipable scope.
