Job summary

EPD Division (Precision Castparts Corp.) seeks a Senior AI Application Developer to design and deploy AI-enabled applications across Los Angeles and Seattle sites. You will blend full-stack development with applied AI, working closely with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to translate manufacturing challenges into robust software solutions.

You will travel up to 30% to site locations, build production-quality tools, and ensure adoption through strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• 5+ years of software development or application engineering experience.
• Experience deploying production AI-enabled applications.
• Experience with data-driven or AI-enabled apps preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, or operations environments preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites with consistent standards.
• Strong product mindset focused on adoption, maintainability, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled applications and workflows for manufacturing and business operations.
• Build full-stack applications using Python, JavaScript, and frameworks (Dash, Streamlit, React, Flask, FastAPI) or similar.
• Develop apps using Databricks Apps and enterprise data platforms.
• Create AI agents and AI-assisted workflows to automate analysis and improve decision-making.
• Integrate REST APIs, model endpoints, data services, LLMs into production apps.
• Develop reusable components and templates to accelerate multi-site deployments.
• Write maintainable, production-quality code with Git, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Monitor and improve reliability, usability, and performance.
