Job summary

ARSIEM Corporation in the Fort Meade, MD area seeks a Sr. Analytic Developer to advance the Access Discovery & Tradecraft mission, building analytic capabilities, automating analyst workflows, and prototyping next-generation software with AI-enabled solutions.

You will collaborate with mission analysts and data scientists to rapidly prototype, deploy, and transition capabilities into operations, using Python and Jupyter Notebooks to support data analysis and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong software engineering experience with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Familiarity with mission analyst tools and ability to understand analyst workflows and operational requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies and deliver innovative software solutions in an agile, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with analysts and stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities to improve data discovery and analytic tradecraft.
• Gather user stories and use cases, facilitate technical discussions, and translate mission needs into software solutions.
• Design and prototype applications that automate manual processes, streamline data workflows, and accelerate analyst productivity.
• Support the transition of prototypes into sustainable operational capabilities while modernizing mission processes with advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications using Python and Jupyter Notebooks to support advanced data analysis and mission automation.
• Develop reusable software components and APIs that integrate with existing mission systems.
• Build scalable data processing workflows and automate repetitive analyst tasks to improve knowledge management and data exploitation.
• Collaborate with analysts to iterate prototypes, evaluate Generative AI and other technologies, and deliver production-ready solutions.
