Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Analytic Developer to support the Access Discovery & Tradecraft mission, developing cutting-edge analytic capabilities and automating analyst workflows. You will collaborate with mission analysts and data scientists to rapidly prototype, deploy, and transition innovative capabilities into operational use, embracing modern software engineering and AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong software engineering experience developing applications with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
Familiarity with mission analyst tools and the ability to quickly understand analyst workflows and operational requirements.
Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies and deliver innovative software solutions in an agile, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Partner with analysts and mission stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities to improve data discovery and analytic tradecraft.
Design, prototype, and deploy software that automates manual processes and data workflows.
Develop scalable data processing workflows and reusable APIs and analytic tools.
Collaborate with analysts to rapidly iterate prototypes and deliver production-ready solutions.
Support transition of prototypes into sustainable operational capabilities with AI-enabled solutions.
