Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Analytic Developer to support the Access Discovery & Tradecraft mission at Fort Meade, MD. You will develop cutting‑edge analytic capabilities, automate analyst workflows, and build next‑generation software for mission success, working with analysts and data scientists to rapidly prototype, deploy, and transition capabilities into operational use.

The role emphasizes modern software engineering, AI-assisted development, rapid prototyping, and scalable data exploitation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience and demonstrated software engineering capability.
Strong software development with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
Familiarity with mission analyst tools and understanding analyst workflows.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and deliver innovative software in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Partner with analysts and stakeholders to understand challenges, document needs, and translate them into software solutions.
Design, prototype, and deploy Python/Jupyter-based analytics to automate analyst workflows.
Build scalable data processing workflows and reusable analytics components.
Iterate prototypes with analysts and deliver production-ready capabilities, incorporating AI-enabled approaches.
