Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and ship end-to-end production agents across the full stack, including prompts, context, and UI in Word or web. You will collaborate with founders and a tight team, working remotely within the U.S.

and in Seattle or Chicago for flexible hybrid arrangements. You will contribute to evaluations, infrastructure, and a modern SDLC, debugging complex issues and mentoring engineers as part of a fast-paced, high-trust team building AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production software in service-oriented, continuously deployed teams.
• Direct experience shipping LLM-powered features to real users through a launched project.
• Hands-on cloud service development experience with AWS, Azure, or equivalent, including containers and CI/CD.
• Fluency in TypeScript or Python and ability to work across React frontend and Node/Python services.
• Experience writing and maintaining tests that catch regressions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship agents and capabilities end to end, including tools, prompts, context assembly, and the frontend experience in Word or web apps.
• Build and maintain evaluations for the capabilities you own and measure acceptance, latency, and cost per agent.
• Contribute to shared infrastructure, including harness, context, retrieval, model routing, and observability.
• Practice modern software development lifecycle with frequent commits, feature flags, and fast rollbacks.
• Debug non-deterministic failures, retrieval misses, tool-call errors, and model regressions.
• Review code, write documentation, and mentor Advanced engineers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and customers to define what constitutes good work.
