Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead agentic AI development. You’ll design and ship agentic systems, toolchains, and scalable platform capabilities across engineering teams.

You’ll mentor engineers, optimize developer productivity, and shape production-quality AI workflows with MCP, LLMs, and orchestration frameworks. Hybrid work policy applies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with AI/LLM-powered or agentic apps.
• Strong programming skills in major languages and API design.
• Production-grade experience with agentic SDKs/harnesses, MCP, and LLM tooling.
• Experience designing MCP tool/resource interfaces and reliability considerations.
• Experience integrating AI into CI/CD and developer workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-quality agentic applications using agentic SDKs/harnesses.
• Engineer MCP tool/resource interfaces for safe access to backend systems.
• Develop prompts, evaluation frameworks, and structured output validation.
• Manage context across long documents, multi-turn conversations, and multi-agent handoffs.
• Lead architecture discussions and mentor engineers on agentic design.
