Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead AI and agentic architecture efforts in the US. This senior individual-contributor role blends hands-on development with frameworks, SDKs, and APIs across engineering, security, and product teams.

You will design and ship agentic systems, developer tooling, and reusable platform capabilities that improve productivity across SIE. You will drive MCP tool interfaces, structured prompts, and reliable production workflows,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including AI/LLM-powered or agentic applications.
• Strong programming skills across Java, Python, Go, Rust, or C++ and API design fundamentals.
• Production-grade experience with agentic SDKs/harnesses, MCP, and LLM tooling.
• Experience designing MCP tool/resource interfaces for multi-agent systems.
• Experience integrating AI into CI/CD and developer workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate agentic applications using agentic SDKs and harnesses.
• Engineer MCP tool interfaces and safe access to backend systems and data.
• Develop prompts and evaluation frameworks for reliable structured output.
• Manage context across long documents and multi-agent handoffs; ensure production reliability.
