Job summary

Trimble is seeking a Senior AI Agentic Software Engineer to own end-to-end development of agentic AI features within the Trimble Financials Payroll platform. You will lead architecture decisions, implement secure, scalable solutions, and drive testing and quality across frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (.NET) domains.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production systems.
• Deep hands-on experience using and managing AI coding agents, with judgment on when to rely on them.
• Experience in modern full-stack development including frontend, backend, and cloud infra.

Responsibilities

• Design, own, and improve pipelines for AI development agents, including prompt libraries and evaluation datasets.
• Lead modular, cost-aware architecture design for scalability and security reviews early in the PDLC.
• Deliver end-to-end features across frontend and backend with testing strategies and coverage targets.
• Mentor engineers, lead code/design reviews, and drive technical direction.
• Own applicable KPIs and ensure outcomes align with business goals.
