Job summary

Trimble is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (AI Native) to drive the architectural vision for next-generation SaaS and cloud-native TMS solutions. You will set engineering standards, mentor senior engineers, and lead AI-native engineering initiatives across hybrid and cloud environments.

You will oversee end-to-end system design for high-throughput microservices and React front ends, ensuring security, scalability, and performance while aligning with business goals in transportation logistics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive full-stack software engineering experience with architectural leadership for high-availability cloud platforms.
• Expertise in modern web architecture: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, state management.
• Deep back-end knowledge: C#, .NET, .NET Core, distributed RESTful microservices.
• AI-Native Engineering: experience with AI-assisted software development and AI code safety practices.
• Public Cloud & DevOps: Azure, SQL Server optimization, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC.

Responsibilities

• Define the architectural future of SaaS and cloud-native TMS platforms across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Champion AI-native development workflows and establish best practices and review standards for AI-assisted delivery.
• Oversee high-throughput microservices and frontend architectures, ensuring resiliency, security, and performance.
• Mentor senior engineers and cross-functional teams to foster technical excellence and architectural rigor.
• Translate complex transportation logistics problems into scalable system designs in collaboration with Product and domain experts.
