EY is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineering leader to build agent-based solutions that move from intent to verified outcomes in complex enterprise workflows. You will architect deterministic and multi-agent execution, craft tools with clear contracts, and steer agent behavior across long-running processes.

This role sits at the intersection of applied AI, distributed systems, and product engineering, tackling enterprise integrations, production failures, and durability in live environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 9-12+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong record in software or applied machine-learning engineering.
• Hands-on evidence of shipping large-language-model applications or agents.
• Programming depth in Python, TypeScript, or production languages.
• Applied AI patterns: model APIs, structured outputs, retrieval, tool use, evaluation.
• Distributed execution: asynchronous work, state, concurrency, retries, failure recovery.
• Identity and controls: access boundaries and scoped authority.
• Production learning: tracing, logs, incidents, durable remediation.
• Travel up to 50% and hybrid office requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Choose the right execution model for agent architectures with deterministic steps or multi-agent coordination when justified.
• Build dependable tools with clear contracts, validated outcomes, and narrow authorization.
• Engineer agent behavior including planning, routing, delegation, and handoffs across workflows.
• Create durable context combining instructions, user state, retrieval, memory, and feedback.
• Bound agent authority with scoped identities, credentials, budgets, approvals, and containment.
• Evaluate complete trajectories using tests for verified task success and safe use of tools.
• Operate long-running execution with durable state, checkpointing, and safe rollbacks.
• Make behavior observable with end-to-end tracing and replay for failure diagnosis.
• Protect user control with intervention points to inspect, interrupt, and resume work.
• Build shared capability by collaborating across product/platform/security/evaluation teams.
