Travelers is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a cross-functional, product-centric team evolving AI-native capabilities for Bond & Specialty Insurance. You will own the technical vision, collaborate with product owners and designers, and ship production AI agents and tooling.

You will mentor others, lead in agent frameworks, and drive technical direction across workstreams, focusing on reliability and impact in production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related STEM field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Shipping production AI agents or AI-powered systems with modern tools.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical vision for your team’s products and shape the roadmap.
• Design, build, and ship production AI agents for end-user workflows.
• Implement telemetry to support product decision-making.
• Work hands-on with agent frameworks, LLM APIs, and orchestration tooling.
• Set direction for agent architecture, evaluation, and observability.
• Mentor team members and collaborate across the function.
