Job summary

Slalom, LLC is seeking an Architect-level Solution Owner in the Boston area to lead large development pods within Agile software delivery. You will partner with Product Owners to define product scope, write actionable user stories, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget.

You will collaborate with engineering leaders to validate approaches, prepare client-facing artifacts, and explore AI-enabled capabilities to enhance productivity and storytelling in delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to define and document business and functional requirements for iterative software development.
• Experience acting as liaison between business and technical teams to ensure timely, effective solutions.
• Strong investigative, analytical and communication skills.
• Comfort working independently or as part of a team in challenging environments.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, and Lean.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage project governance (cadence, Scrum ceremonies).
• Work with Product Owners to define the product, identify requirements, and write user stories for engineering teams.
• Lead delivery teams, manage issues/risks, facilitate meetings, provide status updates.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to validate technical approach, strategy and deliverables.
• Prepare and deliver client-facing presentations and artifacts.
• Identify where AI-enabled capabilities can support product development and delivery workflows.
