Job summary

Appnovation Technologies in Phoenix is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide multiple Agile teams delivering digital transformation projects for diverse clients. You will coach teams, facilitate sprints, and partner with Product Owners to groom backlogs and ensure on-time delivery.

You thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, communicate effectively at all levels, and apply Scrum and other Agile techniques to remove obstacles, manage risks, and continuously improve delivery quality.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of Agile Project Management or Scrum Master experience in a digital agency, professional services or consulting environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (definition of done, user stories, backlog refinement).
• Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks is a plus (Kanban, Crystal, XP, SAFe, etc.).
• Must have either Scrum Master Certification or hands-on Agile experience that can be described in detail.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization.
• Exceptional planning, organizational, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects for Appnovation's global and growing list of clients.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and maintain costs to remain within or under budget.
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups.
• Work with Product Owners to handle backlog grooming and new requests.
• Facilitate internal communications and be the point of contact with external stakeholders.
• Estimate and track project velocity, costs, develop resource plans, and assess potential issues and risks.
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks and guide teams to higher levels of scrum maturity.
• Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and help teams implement changes effectively.
• Ensure deliverables meet high quality standards at the end of each sprint.
• Identify and provide recommendations for process improvement in project delivery.
• Help build a productive and enjoyable environment where team members own the product.
