Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) - Level 4 for Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs. You will facilitate SAFe processes across multiple teams, drive program increments, and partner with Government customers to maintain alignment and value delivery.

You will lead SAFe engineering practices, mentor teams, and manage risk while collaborating with Product Management, Scrum Masters, and leadership. This role requires travel up to 25% and a Secret clearance to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8+ years of related work experience, or Master’s with 6+ years (PhD with 4+).
• Two years of experience as an RTE or Scrum Master (or equivalent).
• Current active in-scope U.S. Government Secret clearance to start.
• Experience implementing Agile in DoD or federal environments.
• Experience with Agile tools, preferably JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAFe engineering and management practices and processes.
• Facilitate ART events and program increment planning.
• Identify and manage risks, remove impediments, and ensure value delivery.
• Coach and mentor teams in Agile mindset and continuous improvement.
• Regularly interact with government stakeholders and leaders.
