Job summary

Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis seeks an experienced Agile Product Owner to support NASIC at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. The Product Owner will bridge stakeholders, customers and software teams to define and prioritize backlogs, manage requirements, and guide sprint planning for mission success.

Responsibilities include creating and refining user stories and acceptance criteria, aligning priorities with engineering and program management, and supporting Scrum rituals.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in Agile software development environments.
• Performing Product Owner responsibilities such as backlog management and sprint support.
• Workflow design, automation, dashboards, and governance.
• Integration amongst multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria that represent stakeholder needs and system requirements.
• Aligning technical priorities; coordinating with engineering, program management, and development teams.
• Supporting sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily team alignment, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Translating system needs and mission requirements into actionable development work.
• Managing Agile tool environments, ensuring backlog structure, workflow automation, dashboards, and reporting structures are optimized.
• Defining mission product architecture requirements.
