Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. seeks an Automated Test Developer to modernize a legacy system with a microservices architecture on AWS. You will implement Java Spring Boot microservices, leverage Python for AWS optimizations, and develop REST services; collaborate in an Agile team and manage CI/CD with Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph and U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree + 9 years experience or Master’s + 7 years; degree can waive with technical experience.
• Experience with automated test development and CI/CD.
• Willingness to support on-call rotation.
• Experience with AWS, MongoDB/OpenSearch, and relational data stores.

Responsibilities

• Modernize a legacy system using a microservices-based architecture.
• Write Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS native technologies.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services like Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3.
• Build REST services with Spring to filter/select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD with Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Participate in Agile software development and collaboration with stakeholders.
