Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking an Automated Test Developer to modernize a legacy system with a microservices architecture using Java Spring Boot and AWS cloud services.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and full-scope polygraph, with on-call responsibilities and team-focused collaboration. Responsibilities include building REST services, optimizing AWS resources with Python, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with full-scope poly required.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of relevant experience or Master’s plus 7 years experience; other combinations may be considered.
• Experience with microservices architectures and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Write Java Spring Boot microservices using AWS native services.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services (Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2, S3).
• Build REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Participate in Agile software development and delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
