Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an Agile Project Manager Lead to guide the delivery of complex business and technology initiatives across multiple squads. You will align delivery with business priorities and collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to ensure value and predictability.

The role requires 7+ years of experience in project or program delivery, deep knowledge of Scrum/SAFe, and proficiency with Azure DevOps, Planview, and Jira.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of project, program, delivery management, or related experience, including at least 1 year leading Agile technology or business transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs and multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and practices, including Scrum and scaled Agile approaches such as SAFe.
• Skilled at managing delivery plans, risks, dependencies, budgets, resources, vendors, and competing priorities.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders, communicate with executives, facilitate discussions, resolve conflict, and influence outcomes.
• Experience with Agile and portfolio delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Planview, Jira, or comparable platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-support capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of complex agile initiatives across multiple squads.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders for successful outcomes.
• Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, and backlog refinement.
• Partner with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to strengthen agile practices and remove impediments.
• Coach teams on agile principles while balancing governance and business needs.
• Monitor program health using delivery metrics, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
