Job summary

BARD Materials is seeking an Aggregate Production Operator to safely load materials and support aggregate production operations at our facility in Dyersville, Iowa. You will operate a front-end loader and work with the production team to keep material flow efficient and compliant with safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading materials, inspecting equipment, performing basic maintenance, and reporting issues promptly.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment preferred.
Previous experience in aggregate production or open pit mining operations a plus.
Ability to understand material flow and stockpile management.
CDL License required.

Responsibilities

Operate a front-end loader to load aggregate materials into trucks, hoppers, and stockpiles as directed.
Utilize equipment to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on loader equipment.
Report mechanical or maintenance issues promptly.
Assist with other mobile plant equipment operations as needed.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Abide by MSHA regulations as specified in the MSHA handbook.
Follow directions and collaborate with the production team.
