Job summary

BARD Materials in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Stockpile Truck Operator to join our Aggregate Production team. You will transport finished products between the plant and stockpiles, operate a dump truck, and help keep operations efficient while adhering to safety standards.

You thrive working with heavy equipment, enjoy improving productivity, and can follow detailed instructions. Prior haul truck or large mobile equipment experience is preferred, and a CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior haul truck experience preferred.
• Experience in open pit mining operations and aggregate products a plus.
• Ability to learn stockpile and plant flow.
• CDL License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump truck to transport finished products from the plant to the proper area/stockpile(s) as directed
• Utilize equipment in a manner to maximize productivity
• Operate other mobile plant equipment as needed (ie. Loader) in accordance to specification without damage
• Perform daily truck inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting an issues
• Report mechanical or maintenance issues with equipment
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations
• Abide by MSHA regulations as specified in MSHA handbook
• Listens to direction and follows instruction accordingly
