Job summary

Barrett Paving Materials Inc. is seeking an Aggregate Plant Loader Operator to safely operate front-end loaders and support aggregate production at our plant. You will ensure accurate loading of trucks, maintain stockpiles, and assist with routine inspections in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include loading operations, stockpile management, inspections, and coordination with drivers to keep production flowing efficiently. MSHA safety policies are a core part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Experience operating front-end loaders in aggregate, mining, quarry, construction or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Knowledge of safe loading practices and material handling procedures.
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front-end loaders to move, stockpile, blend, and load aggregate materials.
• Load customer trucks accurately and efficiently.
• Build, maintain, and manage aggregate stockpiles.
• Conduct daily pre-operational and post-operational inspections of equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including lubrication & fluid checks.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas around plant and stockpile locations.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and MSHA regulations.
• Communicate with plant personnel and truck drivers to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service while maintaining safe loading practices.
