Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking an Agentic Identity Engineer to join a major client on a hybrid schedule with eligibility in Dallas, TX, McLean, VA, or Memphis, TN.

You will design, implement, and operate identity capabilities that support AI agents and other non-human identities, partnering with security, cloud, and apps teams to enable scalable governance and automation. Qualifications

• 10+ years in IAM engineering, platform engineering, or identity integration in large environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing controls for non-human identities (AI agents, service accounts, OAuth clients, workload identities).
• Experience with enterprise IAM technologies such as SailPoint and Ping Identity or comparable solutions.
• Strong automation/integration skills (APIs, scripting, connectors, workflows) to support lifecycle, monitoring, and audit/compliance needs.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across identity, application, network, cloud, and authentication/authorization layers.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and operationalization of identity capabilities supporting AI agents, service accounts, and other non-human identities.
• Implement, configure, and integrate IAM/authorization components across enterprise security, cloud, and application ecosystems.
• Build repeatable onboarding and lifecycle patterns (provisioning, deprovisioning, policy enforcement, certifications, and kill-switch controls).
• Develop automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting practices to improve stability, observability, and incident response.
• Create durable documentation, runbooks, and operating procedures to keep platforms supportable and scalable.
