Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking an Agentic Identity Engineer to join a major client on a hybrid schedule with eligibility in Dallas, TX, McLean, VA, or Memphis, TN.

You will design, implement, and operate identity capabilities that support AI agents and other non-human identities, partnering with security, cloud, and apps teams to enable scalable governance and automation. Qualifications

• 10+ years in IAM engineering, platform engineering, or identity integration in large environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing controls for non-human identities (AI agents, service accounts, OAuth clients, workload identities).
• Experience with enterprise IAM technologies such as SailPoint and Ping Identity or comparable solutions.
• Strong automation/integration skills (APIs, scripting, connectors, workflows) to support lifecycle, monitoring, and audit/compliance needs.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across identity, application, network, cloud, and authentication/authorization layers.

Responsibilities

IDR is seeking a Agentic Identity Engineer to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity from one of the following locations: McLean, VA, Dallas, TX OR Memphis, TN (candidates must be local to one of these city/states). In this role, you will help design, implement, and operate identity capabilities that support AI agents and other non-human identities in a complex enterprise environment. You’ll partner across security, cloud, and application teams to build scalable identity governance, automation, and operational runbooks that improve reliability, audit readiness, and platform performance.

Position Overview for the Agentic Identity Engineer:

• Lead engineering and operationalization of identity capabilities supporting AI agents, service accounts, and other non-human identities
• Implement, configure, and integrate IAM/authorization components across enterprise security, cloud, and application ecosystems

Requirements for the Agentic Identity Engineer:
