Job summary

Arrivia, Inc. is seeking a Senior Agentic Software Engineer to shape the technical direction of our AI-enabled travel platform. You will be a product-minded, full-stack engineer who ships faster and smarter with AI coding agents as core development tools.

You will lead architectural decisions, set engineering standards, and mentor engineers across teams while driving MCP integrations and cloud-native design across multiple cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack development and architectural experience building web applications and services.
• Expert proficiency using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in professional workflows.
• Deep experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular.
• A proven track record architecting and delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Extensive experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and experience architecting MCP server ecosystems.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• A track record of leading technical designs, mentoring engineers across teams, and raising engineering maturity.
• A formal CS degree is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop features for the travel platform as a technical leader.
• Standardize agentic coding tools across engineering teams.
• Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Refactor aging services and migrate to cloud-native distributed design.
• Define patterns and platforms that automate testing, documentation, code-review triage, and deployment checks at scale.
• Design Model Context Protocol integrations that connect AI agents to internal tools and platform services.
• Lead improvements to development and operations of a distributed architecture across cloud platforms.
• Safeguard the privacy and security of members' data with Risk and Security teams.
• Introduce processes to help ship quicker, learn sooner, and meet system SLOs.
• Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, and agentic workflow design.
