Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design and build agentic AI workflows and LLM integration at the application layer. You will own prompt orchestration, tool-calling, and MCP client integration, delivering reliable, scalable multi-agent systems in production.

You will collaborate with product, UX, and operations to ship end-to-end features, maintain high-quality code, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, startup-minded environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including building and operating production systems.
• Experience in Python and at least one other backend language.
• Experience building production systems on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build GRACE's core agentic workflows across single and multi-agent systems.
• Implement and evolve application-layer A2A communication patterns and MCP integration.
• Own LLM orchestration, prompt management, and context handling at the app layer.
• Build and maintain tool-calling layer, input/output schemas, and error handling.
• Develop reusable, observable, and debuggable agentic workflows for production.
