Job summary

BMC Software is seeking a highly skilled AI engineer to build autonomous and semi-autonomous agents that plan, reason, and execute tasks across enterprise apps. Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in AI/ML or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar).
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks and SDKs.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, tool calling, planning, and orchestration.
• Proficient in Python, REST APIs, cloud, containers, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade agentic AI applications using modern LLMs and AI frameworks.
• Build autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, and task execution.
• Develop multi-agent systems and orchestrate interactions between agents, tools, APIs, and enterprise apps.
• Integrate AI agents with internal and external services through APIs, databases, messaging, and workflows.
• Build and deploy RAG solutions using vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources.
