Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer in Tampa, FL to drive end-to-end AI solutions at scale. You will lead the design of context engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows that power enterprise automation, governance, and reliable AI services across Citi's platforms.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with AI architects and business stakeholders, and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines while delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and resilience.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in AI/software development with emphasis on Generative and agentic AI.
• Portfolio of successful AI-driven projects in a business setting.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure for AI (AWS or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI architects and stakeholders to design generative and agentic AI solutions for business challenges.
• Architect context engineering strategies to maximize reliability, provenance, and token efficiency in production.
• Design and implement advanced generative AI methods, including prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Build and optimize RAG systems with hybrid search and multi-vector retrieval.
• Develop knowledge graphs and Graph RAG architectures for multi-hop reasoning and grounded responses.
• Design agentic workflows and multi-agent systems using ADK and comparable frameworks, with orchestration patterns.
• Ensure governance, safety, and observability of long-running agent systems in production.
