Job summary

Obin AI is seeking AI Engineers to help build and scale intelligent agents from the ground up in New York. You will work directly with the founders and own key technical decisions from day one.

You will design LLM-powered agents, work with customers to map ROI-driven AI solutions, and own the production backend that connects to data sources and customer platforms. This role emphasizes architecture, experimentation, and building reusable infra.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience.
• 1+ years building LLM-based agents and/or RAG systems in production.
• Experience logging, evaluating, and optimizing AI applications.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred).
• Experience with cloud infra (preferably GCP) and APIs.
• Hunger to move fast and own outcomes with strong system-architecture intuition.
• Clear communication in ambiguous, high-stakes spaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy LLM-powered agents and RAG-based systems.
• Collaborate with customers to translate workflows into AI solutions.
• Own production infrastructure and maintain backend APIs.
• Balance accuracy, latency, cost, and explainability; run experiments.
• Contribute to core platform design and reusable deployment infra.
• Help define engineering culture, hiring bar, and long-term roadmap.
