Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5-8+ years hands-on experience building AI/ML systems, LLM-based agents, or RAG systems in production.
• Logging, evaluating, optimizing AI applications.
• Architect for agentic AI systems across products; solve ambiguous problems in non-deterministic environments.
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks; cloud infrastructure experience (GCP preferred).
• Experience with cloud infra and APIs.
• Ability to move fast, own outcomes, and build enduring solutions.
• Strong system-architecture intuition for performance and scaling.
• Clear communication in ambiguous, high-stakes spaces.

Responsibilities

• Own agentic AI strategy across the product suite and set governance standards for evaluation, safety, and autonomy.
• Be a recognized technical authority in multi-agent systems; publish blueprints and architectures; represent the company externally.
• Design and deploy LLM-powered agents.
• Build agentic systems using LLMs and RAG to automate complex credit workflows, including prompt design and orchestration.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders at major credit firms to co-develop AI solutions tied to ROI.
• Own production infrastructure; architect and maintain backend systems and APIs with high availability and observability.
• Evaluate and optimize systems; balance accuracy, latency, reliability, cost, and explainability; lead experiments.
• Contribute to core platform design; define architecture and reusable deployment infra; shape engineering practices.
• Help define Obin’s engineering culture, hiring bar, and long-term technical roadmap.
