Job summary

Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners in Moscow Mills, MO is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose and repair John Deere equipment and technology. You will work independently while collaborating with the Service Department.

You will mentor trainees, participate in field diagnostics as needed, manage time and work orders, document results, and stay current with John Deere products and competitive offerings. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience performing service repairs; demonstrated experience meeting performance metrics preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and field service.
• Experience using Service ADVISOR or similar tools preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians; conducts or supports customer clinics
• Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders
• Responsible for documentation of diagnostics and repairs on work orders and timely submittal
• Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs for skills development
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
