Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience performing service repairs on heavy equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience using Service ADVISOR or similar diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians; conducts customer clinics.
• Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Documents diagnostics and repairs thoroughly and submits information on time.
• Operates and maintains vehicles and tools required for job responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and follows safety rules.
• Keeps knowledge current on John Deere and competitive products.
