Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose and repair John Deere equipment and technology at our Bloomingdale, OH location. You will mentor trainees, support customer clinics, and ensure accurate billing and thorough documentation of all work orders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on repair experience, proficiency with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. A High School Diploma is required; CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience performing service repairs; demonstrated experience meeting performance metrics preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on off-road/heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians
• Conducts or supports customer clinics
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders
• Documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and timely submittal of information
• May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
• Maintains a clean work area and neat/ orderly fashion
• Follows safety rules/regulations in performing work
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
