Job summary

The YMCA of Central Texas seeks a Senior Program Director of Enrichments to lead licensed childcare afterschool programs and enrichment initiatives across multiple sites. You will oversee licensing, curriculum, staff training and marketing to ensure high-quality programs.

The role requires guiding expansion efforts to new sites, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with Texas standards. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ managerial experience in a childcare program, preferably afterschool.
• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or elementary education preferred.
• Strong human relation and written/verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to plan, develop, organize, manage and administer tasks.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; must meet state licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Licensing, accreditation, staff training/hiring, curriculum implementation, and marketing of enrichment programs.
• Provide leadership to grow current sites and expand to new sites regionally.
• Plan, develop, implement and supervise enrichment programs for multiple afterschool sites.
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and supervise all staff in this area.
