Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, math, or physics or related field.
• 7+ years hands-on experience developing AFSIM models, scenarios, and plugins.
• Strong programming in C++ or Python.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain AFSIM models, plugins, and simulation components.
• Develop custom AFSIM behaviors, algorithms, and decision models.
• Integrate external data sources to improve simulation fidelity.
• Analyze simulation results and extract actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and experts to define requirements and scenarios.
• Integrate new capabilities, algorithms, and data into AFSIM models.
• Document processes, methodologies, and results in reports and presentations.
