Job summary

The Amatriot Group in Crane, IN seeks a Senior AFSIM Engineer to lead modeling and simulation efforts for NSWC Crane, focusing on custom AFSIM-based solutions for EW and EMSO. This role demands hands-on development, architecture design, and leadership of small teams interfacing with government stakeholders.

You will develop, extend, and integrate AFSIM models and plugins, apply Python and C++, and deliver mission-level analyses and technical reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
2+ years in modeling and simulation with direct AFSIM development.
Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
Active Secret clearance; TS or higher preferred.
Willing to obtain Security+ within 60 days of start.
On-site work in Crane, IN in a classified environment.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and implementation of custom AFSIM solutions for mission analysis.
Serve as technical lead for AFSIM-based efforts and mentor junior engineers.
Develop and extend custom models, behaviors, and plugins in AFSIM.
Architect and execute complex simulation scenarios for EW/EMSO and multi-domain ops.
Integrate AFSIM with other tools and frameworks for mission-level analysis.
Analyze outputs and deliver technical reports and briefings to government stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align modeling with requirements.
Apply Python/C++ to automate data processing and tool integration.
Support MBSE activities where applicable.
